Its become something of a tradition for myself and Joe to see in the new year on location.
Last year we braved the cold on top of the Dorman Long Cokeworks Silo in M'bro. This year we felt like something a little different!.
So.. Braving sub-zero tempratures crowds at the local pub & with the cameras safely in a dry-sack we saw in the new year from the captains cabin with a bottle of Russian vodka and some records. (sainsburys dont stock caviar

Much has been said about the history before but you just cannot describe how complicated a piece of engineering the submarine is.
Climbing inside it initially feels a bit cramped but after a while you become used to the confined space (although debatably large quantities of vodka help)
