Report - SPA MILL bolton-feb 16

HISTORY-spa mill is a vacant 5 storey edwardian former mill premises in need of redevelopment , it was for sale in 2012 but was then taken off the market , bolton council are the current key holders , can,t find much history on this place , also it is next door to claire fishers . in the last few years the ground floor was used as a soup kitchen for the homeless , it was also fitted with showers n changing rooms and offices where they could get advice on council services

THE VISIT- this place has been chained up for the last couple of years and derping at this place has dried up until i turned up .....lol
gaining access to the site can be hard , but once your in the yard the mill is accessible by a partially blocked narrow winding stone stairwell.
there is still quite a bit of stuff inside as you will see from the pics !
i was intending to get into claire fishers next door but i found it sealed up , i also tried to enter claire fishers via an adjoining walkway from the mill , i found this point of entry totally bricked up , visiting the mill on its own was not a let down and kept us busy for over 2 hours ! visited with my derping sidekick @Cazel#HT .

THE PICS - as usual i used my canon 10-18mm wide angled lens , i find this to be the most useful when it comes to urbexing.

You should have seen this back in the early days. Wow bloody stunning. I'm only round the corner and can't believe the fisheries is shut up. There are other ways lol. Best bit now spa empty. But still need to get my crap together for a full report with ww2 toys etc. Was something else. Quite empty now but nice to see some bits still there. Really glad someone else poked around. Gratz m8ty. Nice to see

Good effort for getting this done, its proper trashed now since i went last year. Funny the room behind you with the umbrella is now completely cleared out, the bench all the crap on the shelves, gone. looks like people have been living in it too..

Did notice my record player still there. Even if its now slightly covered. Dug that thing from under a load of wood that was stacked in there. Defo a lot gone now incuding the sex toys lol. Saw them putting loads in a skip outside. Sad really.
