Report - Speciality Minerals - Lifford, Birmingham - October 2015

Some sections of this area are still in use, however I had been meaning to check this place out for a while. I didn't manage to get inside the building but I was able to climb up onto a post and get some photos through the window. I had planned on coming back to this place and climbing over the wall to properly explore the site but unfortunately they have increased the security and have now put a metal fence on top of the wall.

Pretty fucked but that corrugated tin building is quite unique, nice one.

95 percent of the site is currently in use. The unused building is highly unsafe and condemned. CCTV Security cameras are installed across site. I would not advise trespassing on a working chemical manufacturing site.
The white (not snow) can be lime which can cause severe burns

Yes of course Your deductive skills are amazing!. But if I can find it with a simple search so can other misguided people. It was a simple warning of the real dangers of trespass in this area.

Your cameras are crap btw. Always looking the wrong way! Door was wide open when I walked passed a few months ago too. I'd solve those problems if you want to keep people out. Oh and is there anything interesting in the powerhouse? I never been in there but I did admire the sing on the door before it went missing!

On the subject of signs there is a sign on the side if your building I would very much like to own if you would sell it? Either top up your biscuit fund or give it to charity?
