Visited with Forsaken and met Urbanfox along the way !
The fantastic Deco 1930s Spillers Mill on Newcastles Quayside is the highest remaining mill of its type , and even though its been ravaged by time and vandals still remains a great urbex experience , with two main buildings one basically a Silo and the other a prodcution plant and warehouse.
Seems to be a fair bit of local interest from the wrong sorts in this place which has left it in a bit of a state and worth being a little wary of but still offers the wide shots, the high shots and the great details we all love!
So on to some exterior shots ..
As you first enter the interior everything seems neat and tidy , maybe a little uniform
There was some weird stuff on the windows , all would become apparent later on
Oh and then I spotted someone , ahhhh it was just forsaken …
Why was the robot from the ‘for smash get smash’ commercial here ?
More strange details …..
And then I bumped into Forsaken again fancy that ,,,,
This was a shot I loved and tried to get right balancing on the edge of a step for 10 minutes !
Then some more detailed shots ….
This shot was light painted as the room was pitch black but there was some lovely detail in there ..
And the next two are HDRs but hopefully not to pushed !
The light was dropping and made some great photos
A press of some sort ?
This ranks as one of my favourite shots the light was just perfect
Every time I go anywhere abandoned theres always a load of keys
Ahh its forsaken again
more to follow shortly !
