So after a quick stint in a old hosiery factory, we decided on trying the old BT tower (St Georges Tower) in the centre of Leicester.
We met up with Batman, and to the tower we went....fantastic views, awesomely high...just what the doctor ordered...
On our approach, the huge tower dominates leicesters skyline...
On to the site, nice, the tower block is taller than the crane next to it...
The tower was empty, but made for some good photo's...
Onto the very highest part of the tower...the lift mechanism roof...
Then the views...simply breathtaking...the main street and car park...
looking down toward the ring road...
finally, looking down onto the train station..
This building is a huge structure, possibly going to be changed into apartments.
