St John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School was of two schools in Chatham that moved to Rochester to combine the two schools into one site, this one is the larger one, among its former students are ballroom dancer and tv presenter, james jordan and retired footballer, jimmy corbett who played for Gillingham, blackburn rovers, portsmouth and southend united, the site closed in February following the move to Rochester and is most likely due to be demolished for housing as the site's adjacent are currently in development.
The explore
After seeing pics posted in a local group, i had looked up the site before but as google still lists it as active school with opening times I thought i must of been looking up the wrong place lol. We visited this place several times the first ended with police turning up 😂 but the later visits we had no trouble.
The pics will be a mix of day and night shots
The site still has working power, water and gas kinda scary considering we came across a room with a burst tap and room below had water pouring through the ceiling by working lights
with each visit there was fewer projectors eventually all of them had gone,
stairwell to canteen and stage halls
lights, camera, action
the sports hall
below the hall was a small workshop even with a small 3D printer
we then headed to the classroom block containing the labs
I dunno what they were studying here but it's sound's scary 😂
what looked like the staff areas with coffee all over the floor
another workshop with machinery still there
Students work still up
One Room even had working aircon lol was very nice in this heat
Dance hall maybe?
The rest
Thanks for looking
