Tucked away in what could be argued as the wrong end of the Wirral, a Southern fairy like me has never found much reason to travel all the way out to Wallasey for this one. After my first experience of the Mersey tunnel and what turned to be an absolute wasted day checking on what amounted to "jack all left worth bothering with" in and around the Wirral area, I only really counted this as anything report worthy. This was the only thing I trespassed into that day worth getting the camera out the bag for, that's for sure.

It reminds me of the Wellington rooms on the other side of the water, nothing to shout out about, but it made something of a crap day exploring. Im not sure how long its been closed but due to its location, it doesn't seem to get much obvious goontuber footfall with no stickers in sight, or any obvious signs of smash and burn kids or vandals.

Worth a mooch if your around that way, not worth the drive otherwise ;)

Did you do Bromborough Power Station? Also there's a place in Ellesmere Port, a big old warehouse which is pretty good.
Power station seems gone. Even sent the drone up just concrete. Yeah I didn't get into the warehouse, typhoo tea right?

The Power station is still there. It's not much but still worth a visit. Funny you mention Typhoo Tea, I've seen that from the train and wondered if it was abandoned. Is it easy to get in or is there security? It wasn't the one I was thinking of. I'll find a pin for Ellesmere Port but I'm just off out so might be later.

Yeah all good man I won't be that way again anytime soon. I spent a while at the power station assumed it must just be the little control room left somewhere

I definitely didn't put that white chair like that to make a thumbnail for my YouTube (Magnificent madmen) 👀
