know the photo's aren't top dollar but they're mainly to highlight what's been demolished so far. Not to mention the fact we barely explored the site. Great place though and I just hope there'll be something left to explore on my return visit. But by the looks of things it's probably best to get down to Stannington ASAP before there;s nothing left but bricks.
And if anybody would like to meet up to give the place a thorough sweep before it's just a big pile of rubble in the countryside please get in touch
The funky floorboards...
The thermostat giving an indication of how hot the day was...
What's left of the boiler room onlooking the tower...
Spec posing in the epic corridor...
The trans-Siberian station...
Can't remember what these are, smaller boilers? obviously with scrap potential...
Spec checking out the missile launch controls...
Spec again checking out what I presume is some remains of the admin block? with the air traffic control tower trying to get in the shot...
The acid tree...
Bricks...
And finally the pristine toilets with some nice decay going on...
The rest of the photo's (the better ones anyways) can be found on my flickr Starshina72
