St Paul’s Church was completed in 1846 and it fell out of use in 1997. It is a Grade II listed building, bought by a private developer in 1999 it has remained derelict in spite of planning permission being granted to convert it into accommodation.
On arrival I was surprised just how trashed this place actually is. It’s most noticeable feature is its blue, decorative ceiling that perhaps draws you eye away from the fact that this is a building otherwise in a perpetual state of pigeon infested decline. Nevertheless, good to see it with my own eyes. Visited with @Sheard .
