loads of history and previous reports on here so we went and had a look.
had Toots and the wee man (my two youngest) with me.
This time no dopey dog though. too much broken glass for him
first sight of the building, reminded me of a multistorey car park.
got to the fence and saw this sign so we turned round and went home (NOT) lol
wandering through here we could hear faint voices (spooky for the wee man)
must have used some amount of leccy here, never seen so many fuseboxes in one place. also note the stalagtites
so we went up here
voices got louder then we met these people (Big Hi to Christy and Louise) btw the wee man says thanks for the balloon
we found an industrial washing machine so of course Toots had to go inside
these stairs were well wonky
wee man had a ball going up and down all the stairs way quicker than I could
watch where you go though there is still quite a lot of asbestos around
don't ask me what this was for, no idea
got to watch your step. do NOT walk onto ceilings
must have been stunning in its day
but now its all totally trashed
loads of interesting and somehow disturbing graffitti inside. here is a small sample
good fun time was had by all
