St Stephen's Church, Lockwood, Huddersfield - November 2024
Visited with SWC boys on a bit of a West Yorkshire roadtrip, and later with tarkovsky and pipit.
Pretty standard fare Parish church dating from 1864, designed by the firm of Blackmoor and Mitchell-Withers. It's Grade-II listed but has been vacant for over a decade, with public services halting in November 2013.
Not a great deal to see, but had a decent atmosphere. It's always nice doing things on your doorstep, especially with good company. Thanks to David (xox) for the heads up.
Thanks for attending service,
