Report - Stallingborough Batteries 11.9.2015.

Had a wander across to Stallingborough today, I won't go into detail regarding the history of the site as other members have already covered it. I managed to locate the whereabouts of this nice little site - thought I would start with something easy for my first go (I have done RAF Stenigot but that doesn't count as its not hard to miss)

I did see an open hatch, wasn't sure if it was an ROC post as it was quite full of rubbish.

Correct, though didn't get to see it when I went. Previous owner told us she had the key after a telling off for risking making her horses bolt gaining access to the battery, are they still there?
