Hey!
So bit of a weird one... it's not so much abandoned but it is at the same time! I'm currently on holiday in Canada and we can't help ourselves when travelling around but spot abandoned places obviously! This place came up online that caught my partners attention.
In Stanley Park (a massive popular public park in Vancouver) there used to be a Zoo. They closed down in the 90's due to having too many animals for such small enclosures. It was then turned into a petting farm in which the same thing happened and they closed again. There are now only 2 old horrifcly small but amazing enclosures left standing as the others were demolished. These were originally when in use known for holding the polar bears and penguins. It is how you see it in the pictures... they are tiny and cramped places for wild animals to be living in especially the polar bears. Such huge animals. I'll show some before and after photos as comparison but i thought this might be interesting to some and worth a little report. Enjoy
