After seeing Daily Mail article about Millennium Falcon touching ground in England we had to find it. We checked Pinewood Studios first (stated as the movie set in the article), but "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy" was nowhere to be found.
A few days later we went to Longcross Studios and it was a good idea. Corellian light freighter was there, parked in the middle of the woods.
After finding it and checking how well it was secured, we came back a few days later to take some better photos.
Star Wars Wikia for those who want to find more about Millennium Falcon.
Longcross Studios - Star Wars VIII movie set - Millennium Falcon
The freighter entrance was opened and it was easy to get inside.
No cockpit I'm afraid:
Vintage AG-2G quad laser cannon
And some amazing details:
Ahch-To island steps
And another partially built Star Wars set (located behind Ahch-To)
It was a really chilled out visit, we entered and left the set unseen. And we perfectly timed it - set looks more complete now than in Daily Mail article that only appeared a few weeks ago.
Many thanks to Kev for the great time and your photos - my camera couldn't make it with low light and automatic settings xx
May the force be with you!
Enjoy!
