Station Torino Porta Milano, Torino
In late May we took a trip to Turin as part of an Italian car event.
During the visit I got the opportunity to visit Torino Porta Milano, also known as Torino Ponte Moscow, and colloquially, as Cirie-Lanzo station. This was the old Turin terminus of the Turin-Ceres railway and is located in the heart of Turin. This disused railway station is located in the Aurora neighborhood in Corso Giulio Cesare.
There are attempts at a small museum and there was an area, the old forge, with a collection of artefacts. There was also evidence of some refurbishment work but it is on a really small scale.
Regrettably I had left my SLR locked in my car which was parked on the roof of the Lingotto (Old Fiat Factory). So these shots were taken on my Nokia mobile
