History!
This pub started off life under the name of 'Barley Mow pub' was opened as far back as the 1920's. This pub continued to be run under the same name right until 1992. This is when the pub began under a new company with a new name, 'Frog & Firkin'. However this pub was unsuccessful, not lasting long before once again changing ownership and name. This would move on to be called 'Stereo Nightclub', being the last name that the building would use. It closed in 2010, and within the following year there would be a fire, which would wipe out the roof, the top floor and some of the second floor. In July of 2015, another fire destroyed the inside of the three-storey property. In September of 2016, there was another fire, which was the latest one to be reported. As of now, the building stands empty with no plans of renovation.
