Stoford Offices Tower Crane, Whiteladies Road, Bristol
Seffy, Grit and whodareswins. Plus quite a few other non-members!
Ever since this one went up last year, I've had my eye on it. Given the location of it, I didn't even bother for a while after an initial scout of it. Only after some friends decided to try it one night, and got lucky, did I know it was time.
And boy, did it deliver.
This is a new development, soon to be office space for the company Stoford, who are also involved with a few other projects in Bristol at the moment. The company heading up the construction project itself is BAM, hence all the green hoarding and indeed green crane.
I've been lucky enough to see some pretty impressive views of Bristol before now, but this was on another level. Situated at the top of Whiteladies Road, it dwarfs other high points such as Cabot Tower, Bristol University's tower cranes and the other Vinci cranes around.
It would seem that quite a few others have also been up this crane to enjoy the views recently, and who can blame them given that they are like.
Some snapz...
