We came across the social club by accident while recceing something else,
nothing epic but well worth the visit.

The social club is a typical working men's club of a bygone era,
consisting of a bar / lounge, games room & concert room with stage, closed about 2010.

Shame about those snooker tables, hope they don't go to waste.

They're usually not worth the hassle of trying to move as they weigh an absolute tonne and are pretty fragile, hence why they get left behind just like pianos. The most valuable part of the table is the slate if it's any good.

I say this with experience of moving a table just like that before, it's not fun.

Well this is unexpected. 14 years closed and its pretty much untouched. What a nice find 👍
