Visited today with Bryag, cheers for the speedy driving mate
This had been kinda trashed, lots of names etc carved into the polystyrene wall-covering, a wee attempt at a fire, but surprisingly loads of stuff still there, though the Teletalk pictured in a previous report had gone - hopefully 'rescued' as someone had intended rather than destroyed...
There was more paperwork here than you could shake a stick at, could have spent a lo-o-ong time reading it all
Good to see the ever-present 'Glitto' - spangly coloured packaging too
More paperwork etc.....
These guys were well equipped...
Kettle, plates, forks, cups, you name it LOL - they even had a spare toilet :crazy
Handy BP Educational Service book on Clouds....
This was my first ROC - many thanks to Bryag for this one, and it was a good intro to them!
I'm sure he'll be along to post some his pics, better stuff than mine
We gave the palce a bit of a tidy, not as much as we'd have liked due to time, but at least it looks better now, given time, this could be 'restored' almost to original we reckon.
The hatch is secured by a method that enables it to be opened with a bit of thought, and strength, this place is worth a look before something bad happens to it
Last coupla pics...
Rather a poignant issue of Civil Protection...
