Hi Everyone,
It's been a while since I posted a report. Work's been horrible and my PC crashed just after I went round this place; so I had rebuild it, a right royal pain in the arse that turned out to be!
anyway, I had to wait a little bit, but here you go
I work quite close to this place and have often wonderd what it was like in there, it's been closed up and well sealed for as long as I can remember, but there was a fire in part of the building about three days before I went in, so of course the fire service smash all the doors in (even the parts that wern't on fire
: ) and gave me an easy chance to have a look.
I'd been in about ten mins when these two guys with a suitcase burst through the remains of the fire service adjusted door, we stared at each other for a few seconds, then it became obvious who they were, PIKEYS!! After copper and lead! They didn't hang about pulling at every bit o pipe the could see, They were ok I suppose. They left me along at any rate!
It's a wierd place, it looks like all sorts of business have been there over the years, and when one finished they closed up the room and started in a different part, there is metal engineering equipment, engraving machines, electrical and radio parts from the 1950's and most bizarely aeroplane parts for Bristol aircraft still sealed in there boxes from 1954! all neatly stacked in a room. The place is stacked full of stuff making it difficult to move about. I heard this huge crash, bang and string of swearing from the celler. Pikeys got lost and fell over stuff cos they didn't have a torch!

Anyway enough rambling here's some photo's

The Bristol aeroplane Company date packaged 1-2-1954!

There you go. if you get chance go and have a look. I don't know if the clumsy pikeys have been back and taken more stuff from it.
