The Bayley, Manchester - February 2013
Visited with Anon and NickUK
Having just been spotted by the security at a nearby crane, we were searching for ideas. NickUK reminded us of a building MortalDecay had told us about some time before with decent views of the Civil Justice Centre. So, we went and had a little look. The usual "could you just hold that door for us, mate?" worked well, and we even saw the lad walking up the stairs on our way down with a newly-acquired KFC box. No idea why the lifts weren't working... (oops!)
History
The Bayley is a really boring, plastic residential apartment building on the boundary of Salford and Manchester. It was completed in 2006 and is about 40m tall with 13 floors. It sits on New Bailey Street... so heaven only knows why they decided to re-spell it "Bayley".
