Hello again. Hope your all good .
Seeing as i had to be in the city center this night anyway, i thought id pop up early with @lou2209 and hit a rooftop or two. After seeing 5ways tower pop up on youtube recently, we headed straight there , mainly it seems just to walk in circles around the place then go the shop for Rizla and water.
After some detective work we came to the conclusion that secca had seen the same video we had and sealed up the access. This was when it was mentioned that the old Snobs nightclub had scaffolding up (has had for years) and that we should head over. Cue my first scaf climb lol. iv done masts etc but never wobbly scaffolding . I did however learn that i need to work on my arm strength a little if im going to make a habit of it lol.
History
Theres not a massive amount of info on this place , especially recently. A google search throws up the usual planning applications and ideas , whos buying it, whos not anymore etc, the usual stuff associated with a building like this.
It was Birminghams first pre-cast concrete building , and has been largely vacant since 2008. The office space , the top 6 floors, are also accessible but we didnt venture inside on this occasion, a revisit probably on the cards lol.
On with a few pics........
