Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. I actually have loads of new sites visited but my editing backlog could choke a whale, so bear with me.
This site affectionately known as 'The British' by most people in the photography community is probably one of the most regularly used locations in my area for model photography and is a regular spot for local ravers. It was actually fenced off and surrounded by police last year after a New Years Eve rave got seriously out of hand but luckily was still accessible upon my latest visit. Not a particularly large site, it's a relatively modest explore but interesting none the less. I'm unaware of the history surrounding this place and a Google search only throws up that it has been owned by around 8 different companies within the last 30 years, including 'South Wales Profilers Ltd'. Torfaen Council are currently in talks about redeveloping the brown site but no plans have as yet been made. The Council purchased the site from HSBC for around £3.7 million last year.
