I dont normally do night time explores even tho I love and enjoy walking around buildings and I love the history that follows and surrounds them but at the same time I like to document them with clear photographs and I wont use flash in a building it brings attention and also I dont like the pictures done with flash but hey thats just me also it was 9pm and I had a door shift just down the road at 10pm.
anyhow I heard that The Ormskirk Civic Hall was closing and could be getting knocked down I knew I had to go get in and photograph it for a few reasons this place was special to me, I had Photographed the Mayor of Lancashire in this building, I had worked on the bar of this place I have worked as a doorman here and even done security watching over the local MPs on a question and answers night and most of all I had my wedding reception here.
as this place is closed there was no electricity and as I dont use flash so all pictures have been donein long exposure and light painted with a LED Lenser P7.2.
