A 1950s era pub in the Blurton area of Stoke-on-Trent. It is currently set for demolition and will be replaced with ‘8 new properties, each with two car-parking spaces’. The news of its intended demolition came only 11 months after it was refurbished and reopened by its last tenants in March 2019.
Had a quick poke about while in the area late last year. Pretty standard abandoned pub, smashed windows on street-side, broken glass all over the pavement, soaking wet bar area and upper floor thanks to metal theft and the urbex pub standard: a lone soggy mattress upstairs.
