Report - The magistrates Court, Alton June 2020

Opened in 1978 to replace a smaller site

Can't find much in the way of history on this place other than many articles about poor planning for flats to be built on the site

Upsettingly the cells and police station side remain well sealed but the court areas was a nice little wander

The site closed in the winter of 2013 as part of a huge closeure of smaller courts up and down the country

Was a decent explore, glad we checked it out again, was so disappointing not being able to get down to the cells, I’m still annoyed by that lol!
