Welcome to my first report. Photos were taken across 2 visits, the first of which I didn't go inside due to time constraints. They were all taken with my Fujifilm FinePix AX245w point and click. Visited the first time on my own but joined by a non member on the second trip. Anyway on with the good bit.....
History on this place is hard to come by, so far I have found out there was someone living in the pub up until 2009 according to a letter we found in a cupboard, there was planning applied for 3 houses with integral garages which would involve part demolition of the site. Originally they wanted to restore the public house but the planning was then re-submitted for an unknown reason.
the cellar door
Some sort of old valve, don't know what it was used for
One of the sheds out back
My favourite shot
Grab a quick snack from the kitchens
Door to the private quarters
We didn't venture too far upstairs as most of the floor boards are missing/pulled up, I can only assume its for the copper pipe/wiring as for a pub there wasn't much of it.
There are more photos on my Flickr
Thanks for looking.
