Report - The Ship Inn, Wallasey, August 2017

Did this little one while out last summer while driving past it. I didn’t find much history about the place other than this and also an old photograph of what is used it used to look like.

The Ship Inn in Breck Road opened in 1822 with George Cooper as the first licensee. Though the pub closed in 2008.

I go climbing on the Breck, always wondered what condition the ship was in. Thanks for the report. Shame it closed down.

It is partially renovated now mate, it was supposed to be split into town houses but there was a hickup with the parking arrangements or lack of it.
