Visited with Bekky, Humpa & some of Humpa's friends.
I noticed that Oakamoor has become fairly popular once again and felt that it had been slightly overdue since i had visited the place for some lovely night shots. For the past two years i have been trying to time it correctly so that i could be here on a clear, moonlit night but as is usually my luck; every time was cloudy as sin.
Luckily though, this time was rather beautiful!
I have already reported this location before about a year or so ago, so you can find the history on that thread.
This is one of the most relaxing and atmospheric explorers you can do in the middle of the night,
i love it
The famous old tarp train still looking delightfully spooky as ever!
A couple of the containers that used to be on the carriages now lay down in the grass between the lines.
I love these old wooden carriages that look like mountain shacks.
Not sure what train this is exactly, but it's a fairly modern passenger carriage.
Some canisters left in one of the dismounted containers.
And then here's a cheeky self portrait; lit only by moonlight!
Peace
