This place has been around a while now and been heavily explored over the years. When a mate first spotted it back in 2014, me and my friend went to have look the following week, after he had made a little route through the overgrowth. The place was untouched when we first went in. You hear the word time warp put about so often nowadays. But this was one them rare ones that really was. I have made about five visits over the time as only twenty mins from me. This was my last visit and on each occasion you can see stuff has been heavily set up. A few things gone walkies. But on the whole it has stayed pretty good. It is a proper village store. The sort that sold everything from sweets in jars, to some clothes and shoes. Next to the store is a residential part were the owner lived. Downstairs is a bed which suggests the owner had got to old in the end to get upstairs. I got talking to someone who lived in the village and was saying that an old lady owned the shop for years and she use to give the kids free sweets now and again out the jars. I think I remember her saying it closes in the late eighties maybe early nineties. Not to long after this last visit the overgrowth was cut back and new fencing erected. I did wonder if they were going to restore it or knock it down. Butt seems still nothing done with it.
