Backgroud: Dairy Crest's Creamery sat on a site which had been a creamery since 1874. This particular Art Deco site was built in the 1930's to meet needs, but When the government de-centralised milk collection,the creamery was finally killed off and closed its doors in 1993. A severe blow to the area, with around 200 Job losses.
About the visit: Great explore but massive site. Police came as one of our guys went on the roof (of the tall building) luckily we just hoped over the fence as they came. They even asked if we saw a guy on the roof not knowing we're just come from the site.
