Hi all, been lurking the forum for a bit, I'm a photographer currently undertaking a project on the urbex world. It's been a ride so far, I've visited a couple locations in Cornwall and Devon and planning to do quite a few more over the next few weeks.
This is the Torrington Dairy Crest that has been abandoned since 1993, the site itself has been done quite a lot on this forum so I'll summarise the history. It was founded by Robert Sandford in 1874, conviniently located with good railway links. In 1932 the creamery was aquired by Cow and Gate and was expanded from there. By the 70's the site was ran by Dairy Crest, where a seperator room, boiler house, drying plant and milk recieving facilities were built. It was closed in 1993 due to a fire and has been derelict ever since.
If you guys know of any locations in Cornwall/Devon you're willing to share with me feel free to drop me a DM, otherwise enjoy the photographs!
