Report - Tower hamlets and lagoon tunnel.... with some food at the end.... Mar 2022

Lagoon and Beaufoy caves all so know as Tower Hamlets ARP tunnel, lies a small network of tunnels deep under ground. With all the main entrance now sealed these are still in quite nice condition. Once in these tunnels are in fantastic condition. Nasty little abandoned restaurant at the end of it.

Have been after this one for a while, and stars finally aligned. Explored with @Stimpakman and a couple of other mates . Phone pics as per....

Just to upstairs. Nothing special the restaurant. Just found it funny was at the end of the tunnels.

many years ago, and by many i mean probably 10 , you could get thru into the actual caves at the other end, which where in a basemtn of a business, they put a nice blue door up to stop people wandering about, but its still worth the 5 minute crawl over the broken shit to have a look

That’s about as long as I’ve been wanting to get in lol. Remember climbing all over the grassy/woody/derelict hill bit at back of the shops looking for away in.... alas I was a idiot lol..... glad it’s “off the list now”

my report was one of the first to go up from here, another group of chaps also knew access and had the tools for the job, so they pipped first place.. its seen a fair amount of foootfall since then, but its still quite clean in there
