The Tractor Graveyard is on the remains of RAF Folkingham Airfield, located about 10 miles South-East of Grantham (10 miles North of Bourne) about 2.5 miles West of the A15 between the villages of Folkingham and Aslackby.
There's nothing left of the RAF Base really, apart from the runway, which for some still unknown reason has hundreds old Tractors and many other random vehicles lined up down either side.
A bit of research to get proper permission is advisable, because the site is covered by CCTV (due to the obvious attraction for pikies) and also clay pigeon shooting is done on site too.
I've been here a couple of times before, so decided to shoot the whole afternoon with my 50mm f1.8 lens.
The weather wasn't too kind, but we made the most of it. There's loads of great peeling paint and rusting metal, which makes for some great contrast.
