Don't really know too much about this school. Its in a very unusual countryside location, and was built around 1985. In 2015 it closed for the last time after merging with three other schools and relocating closer to Durham City Centre. It was purpose built as a school for children with Special Education Needs. Despite closing nearly two years ago, the power is still on, the phone lines are still active and the building is still fitted with an active alarm - so if you're planning on going you should either be very quick or bring an invisibility cloak! Luckily, the school has suffered no vandalism but unfortunately some parts were locked (including the pool), but the photo's should speak for themselves as to what's to see:
