The Scala Superama/odeon queensway opened in November 1964 in brum and has been sat unused since 1988.
Originally a 3 screen cinema the other two screens were next door to where the first screen is and they was in the now abandoned oceana/electric nightclub it absolutely stinks in there.
After hearing about the cinema for a few years I got to explore it for the first time the seats were removed the year it closed and reused in the odeon on new street I was shocked to see the huge sound system still inside and the generators in the back, the original odeon signage and glass date plates. Surprised to see the toilets had been cemented unlike nextdoor in oceana nightclub where years of sewerage has backed up and the rats have taken over this place was just dusty and abit mouldy. Seeing all the electronics inside the projection room all the dials and switches was super cool. Looks like part of the concrete roof had fallen in around the passageways behind the sound system shame I didn't bring a better torch as there was loads of features I couldn't get decent photos of.
All in all a wicked explore
