Report - UPDATE: Crewe limeght nightclub

The trip:
Me and my friend set off to limelight on the 11th may 2018. We got in and it smelled really bad and there was tons of trash and the installation was caving in from the ceiling. It was pretty sketchy and we heard loud noises and voices in the basement/ concert hall so we belted out of there. However it was a great trip, I’m properly gonna go again so I’ll try to keep you guys updated.

Wouldn't be surprised if some of the local homeless community are still camping in there, as some of their usual spots around the town have recently been boarded up....

Still sad to see the Limelight gradually go further and further downhill, sadly it'll never come back now.

@Paulh33 it was sad to see it like it was but, it was so creepy in there, especially that basement

@TacticalDuck It definitely looks pretty creepy in there now, but good to see some pics of areas inside I never did see when it was open, as I spent most of my time playing pool in the main bar area back in the day, apart from a couple of occasions in the rafters lol, great report though

Update: got back in, this time on my own. Didn’t take much mainly due I hate how it was so creepy in there so I got out as soon as possible but here’s what I got.
the place was still a mess with in the picture you can see, tons of installation and trash all over the floor. if any up for going there... you've been warned lol

@TacticalDuck its strange seeing it in daylight! We went in around 10.30 at night !

@Lindylou it was tricky getting in while it was bright as well as cars going passed every 2 seconds

I can believe that! Busy enough at half ten at night but in the daytime I can appreciate how bust that area is!

Update: so recently a lot has happens. About a week ago a couple of kids were caught going in and now new boards are over the doors and a window and the rock cafe roof has been completely burnt down to the point where you can see inside. I was told by one of my close friends who is fiends with one of these kids and now it is impossible to be sneaky and try to get in, due to a large tree growing in the ally which is now gone. I’ll try and get a pic when I pop down on a town visit.

I've heard it's possibly been sold and has planning permission for flats too
