Welcome to my first post to anything urbex!
I didn't manage to find any history on the place but looking at some of the reviews left by people when it was open it looked like no one enjoyed staying in the chalets. This place is about 15 miles from Winchester, Portsmouth and Southampton so was probably once quite busy!
After a couple of hours of research, 4 of us decided to head to Droxford after seeing it on these forums. Parking at a nearby pub and walking up to this hotel, we found it was pretty easy to enter from the back. We immediately noticed how damaged it was compared to pictures we had seen taken a few years prior. Vandals have not been good to this place... Every window has been smashed, fire extinguishers thrown into ponds (fish are still alive in them though which surprised us) and walls have been kicked in. Every room in the lounge/social area is accessible except one upstairs, floor boards have been taken up/rotted through and it just wasn't safe to attempt. Also on the grounds are all of the chalets you could have stayed in, i think there was about 9 of them to explore.
Thanks for reading Hope you enjoyed.
