Opening on 29th January 1936, the Vogue Cinema was located in the Glasgow suburb of Rutherglen, to the south of the city. The foyer and proscenium feature Corinthian columns, and seating was provided in stalls and the circle level. The building was listed with Grade B status in 2005.
The cinema was taken over by Oscar Deutsch Odeon Theatres Ltd in 1937 and renamed to Odeon in 1946. In 1974 it was converted to Top Rank Bingo Club and was subsequently taken over by Mecca until March 2020 when it closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The closure turned out to be permanent.

The exterior of the cinema is looking a bit worse for wear nowadays.
Entrance Lobby
It took us a while to get the lights on but we eventually figured it out, including the bingo display which was still set with last game played.
