After seeing a few reports of this site recently and being at a loose end on a Saturday morning, I got in the car and headed over the M62 to have a wander around.
History is a little thin on the ground apart from the obvious it being a small scale welding and engineering firm, but after bumping into a local it looks like they moved out quite a few years ago to a new site but looking it up on the tinterwebs, I cant find anything to back this up.
Despite being half burnt out the main building kept me entertained for around an hour with all the machinery that has been left behind such as the Rushworth and frost sheet metal folder, machines that I had worked with in the past when I used to make signs for the Council. The shed at the front of the site held many treasures with old paper work and brochures from companies that are now no longer around.
On with the pictures.
Lets go inside then,
Thanks for looking.
