February 2025
I recently knocked this one off as a solo visit during my lunch hour at work, I have done my absolute best to crackdown a history for it but there is nothing online. From what I have gathered the chapel was built in 1911 to serve the Wesleyan Methodist community in the nearby village of Tilston, Cheshire. A Wesleyan Methodist is a Protestant Christian who follows the teachings of John Wesley which in the UK as of 2023 has a UK has approximately 170,000 followers. It is unclear when the chapel closed to worshippers, it is clear from the state of the building that it has been vacant for a very long time with sections of the ceiling starting to collapse. In more recent years a local farmer has been using the building to store farm equipment.
