Westerleigh school started out as a manor house built in the early 1800.This 10.5 acre site has the main building(school) and 2 houses still lived in by the owners and is currently up for sale for 4.5 million.It was bought in 1930 my the wheeler family and was turned into a private school before closing in july 04 it catered for 360 pupils and over 40 teachers mr and mrs wheeler being head of school.One of the most famous pupils being f1 star james hunt.
