Never know what you can stumble across when you go looking in the woods.
Woodhouse Ridge Bomb Shelter is one of many public shelters in Leeds most of which have been bricked up and mounds covered over however can be still seen to this day but luckily like this one some are accessible looking like someone had smashed through the concrete to open it back up I couldn’t resist exploring it for myself.
Although not very big it was very exciting to walk through and inside such a massive part of history considering the age of this shelter. The lovely face someone had spray painted on the first blocked off section really added the creep factor. The tunnels go round a couple of corners but unfortunately leading to a dead end.
