Saw this place reported on by UrbexCamo; it being close by and an easy explore seemed like a quickie. Finally getting the report up because I am a lazy sod.
Not much to go on in the way of history, seemed to be a restaurant/vineyard that closed late 90’s or early 2000’s and as such had no online presence. The place itself is far beyond saving and shows its age with the incredibly bowed ceiling that looks like a light cough would set it tumbling.
The explore
UrbexCamo’s report and google images both warned of a close by gypsy camp so I made sure to bring protection… in the form of the biggest ginger I know. It might be coincidence, but we weren’t bothered at all. It being the end of spring the whole entrance to the restaurant was overgrown with nettles, so much so that we had to hack our way through.
Shorts were a mistake.
The place itself was a tip and I can probably guess who the culprits were.
Some photos of the old vineyards.
Not in tune.
Those windows are not supposed to slant down like that.
Just being under this roof unnerved me.
