My first "explore" for the forum (I just recently discovered 28DL whilst googling for info about OC posts).
Opened in 1948 as a sand/aggregate quarry with an extension of it's life in 2005/06 "Wormit Gravel" and sand has been used in many local projects over the years but it has been closed for about 6 months now. Not all buildings are accessible (some doors welded, one with a large bolted steel plate).
