Ive wanted to see this for ages, its one of only two surviving underground wheels. At 16 foot in diameter its by far the main feature of this little mine which by all accounts was a bit of a failure!

We only covered the lower level, the upper required getting majorly wet and probably falling down some of the dodgy flooded stopes that are up there.. Be careful!!
