Report - Aust Ferry, River Severn Bridge

The spot had been a crossing for travellers between the English and Welsh sides of the Severn since the 12th century but the modern ferry service ended in 1966 with the opening of the Severn suspension bridge.

I liked the opposite side of the river also, before they pulled all the buildings and ticket booth down.

Good report - even though it was nearly two years ago. Nice to see people venturing out to the walkways under the bridge on the English side
