Report - Bethel Methodist Chapel - Gowerton Swansea - March 2017

Gowerton is a small Village located on the outskirts of Swansea. It once had 5 active churches, now only 2 are in use.

Bethel Methodist Church was built in 1873 and was also known as Bethel Calvanistic Chapel. There is nothing left of the interior, and the building is becoming more of a shell these days. It has also become a haven for various birds.

Sorry I don't have any more info on this place.

Nice, a bit past it but I like the mural still on the wall. These places are always worth sticking your head in. I assume that will make someone a fine house one day!

It has certainly seen better days. I'm not sure what the future holds for it now.

From the outside you would be fooled, sad its so gutted. Like the ceiling rose though. Nice one, not seen this before

I thought the ceiling rose was a nice touch. Shame about the rest of it though.
