FORMER BRITISH EXTRACTING COMPANY SILO
AND ATTACHED RECEIVING HOUSE.

HISTORY

This former British Extracting Company silo was built in 1919 and designed by Gilder & Kitchen of Hull. It was part of the site of an oil extracting mill. The interior is divided by cross walls into storage bins where the grain was stored. The attached receiving house was used for transferring material from road and river into the silo.

THE EXPLORE
This is defiantly one of the most sketchiest climbs I've ever done, absolutely massive building. once we got inside it just got better and better. great place. p.s anyone who has climbed those awful stairs on the outside deserves some sort of award for bravery haha. enjoy. (all pictures are mine)
