Can't find anything on this place so I'm going from memory here. Brunel Lodge used to be a mental health unit up until September 2011, when it was closed down and moved to Torbay Hospital.
The visit:
Most of the hospital was black pitch due to board up windows (some pictures illuminated by our torch).
My second visit was shortly interrupted by armed police and police dog unit, after reports of armed man on site. After a search and background check they us go. I later found out from the local paper that there was an former patient armed with an axe. He was in the building we were about to walk into before being interrupted.
